PAUL LIVERSIDGE

Paul Liversidge is a freelance ICT consultant specializing in enterprise architecture; ensuring corporate objectives and ICT form a mutualistic strategy that is both cost-effective and practicable. He has over 20 years of experience working for public and private clients in the UK, Canada and worldwide.

He started his career providing operational support and management to an international civil engineering company before embarking on his consultancy career. He has since occupied many senior technical and managerial positions; adapting to the needs of the client but continuing to provide the missing link between the business and technology departments, teams or staff.

He was accepted into Mensa at the age of 19 and has a number of industry certifications such as CCNA, CCDA, VCP, CNE, MCSE, PRINCE2, Project+ and a strong interest in best practice frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27000, USMBOK and TOGAF.

He started programming at the age of 10, on the ZX-81, and continues to dabble with Internet technologies such as PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript with his current muses being Kohana, jQuery and search engine optimization.

He currently lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada with his wife, two kids and dog.
